Moderate Eczema Baby Pack
There are many types of eczema, but atopic dermatitis is usually the most common, however, eczema usually appears differently, on each child and their skin type. Typically, your GP or dermatologist will prescribe over-the-counter creams or ointments for your baby’s mild-moderate eczema, but the fact they most often contain paraffin or petroleum is a problem.
So, to help you treat your child’s moderate eczema, we’ve curated a custom pack containing our best-selling garments to get you started.
Patent Pending No P2604110.3
- Ready to wear, straight out of the box – There is no need to wash your HappySkin garments before the first wear. They are manufactured in a sterile environment. The DreamSkin coating technology is active from the moment you unbox, so your little one can enjoy soothing comfort right away.
- Which creams work alongside HappySkin – DreamSkin manages moisture and delivers its soothing action directly to the skin, without blocking skin pores the way a heavy barrier cream can. Gentle, fast-absorbing NON-PARAFFIN moisturisers are perfectly fine. Apply the cream little and as often as needed and always allow to absorb fully before dressing, so that nothing gets in the way of the HappySkin clothing and your child’s skin.
- What not to use – Avoid paraffin-based or greasy ointments while your child is wearing HappySkin. Thick, oily creams block skin pores and prevent the skin from its single most important function of managing body temperature. They also cause higher dosages of steroids because they are also blocked from reaching the skin. Higher doses mean higher likelihood of Topical Steroid Withdrawal symptoms.
