HappySkin is an eczema clothing brand for babies (0-3 years) and children (3-12 years), based in UK. Every garment is made from a soft TENCEL and cotton blend, coated with patented DreamSkin polymer technology.
DreamSkin Technology is the part that does the work. It is a fabric polymer coating, not a fibre. This polymer mimics healthy skin, helping your child’s skin manage moisture and temperature naturally, the way it would if it were not affected by eczema.
We are clothing range designed to soothe, protect, and gently retrain eczema-prone skin to heal itself.
HappySkin is like no other eczema clothing! What sets us apart from other regular cotton clothing is our unique DreamSkin technology coating and expertly designed garments that maximise comfort for the user.
What sets us apart from other regular baby sensitive clothing are not bamboo, not silk, also not common cotton, we use Tencel/Cotton as our textile with a clinically proven polymer coating to maximise comfort for the user. We chose TENCEL and cotton because the DreamSkin polymer bonds best with this fibre structure, allowing the technology to keep working consistently across up to several washes.

What is DreamSkin? The Benefit of Technology
A patented polymer coating with an unexpected origin and a long clinical history.
DreamSkin was first formulated to keep contact lenses from drying out in the eye. After more than five years of further development, a modified version proved capable of bonding to fabric with full wash durability.
Once applied to a HappySkin garment, the coating sits invisibly on the fibre and forms a soft, skin-like layer in contact with your child’s skin. Its structure is similar to the top layer of healthy human skin, which is why it can interact with the skin in a way that ordinary fabric cannot. Plus, it also provides anti-bacterial protection.

How does it treat eczema?
Eczema-damaged skin loses the ability to manage its own moisture. DreamSkin helps it find that ability again.

The scratch-itch cycle begins
Scratching damages the skin further. The skin can no longer protect itself, repair itself, or regulate temperature. The cycle continues until something interrupts it.

The skin’s sensors switch off
Healthy skin contains tiny moisture-managing sensors. They release moisture when the body is warm, retain it when cold. Eczema switches these sensors off. The skin dries out, becomes inflamed, and starts to itch.

DreamSkin mimics healthy skin
When the polymer coating sits in contact with damaged skin, its skin-like structure tells the sensors that healthy skin is right next to them. The sensors gradually start working again.
